Knapsack carried by Ruth Berkowicz when she was fleeing from Warsaw, Poland, to Japan during the Holocaust.

Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
Square body of light gold canvas and a drawstring opening with a canvas flap that fastens to the body by a leather-metal buckle. Attached near the bottom of the body are two canvas pockets with canvas flaps that fasten by leather-metal buckles. Attached on the verso of the body at the upper center is a metal ring with two leather straps that attach to leather-metal buckles at the bottom corners of the body.
