Acquisition
Source of acquisition is the Dresden Jewish Community, Dresden, Germany. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's International Programs Divisions acquired the microfilm from the Dresden Jewish Community, Germany, in June 2001. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the microfilm in Aug. 2001. The entire collection was digitized in 2016.
Scope and Content
Contains correspondence pertaining to the repression and persecution of Jews, documents related to the confiscation of Jewish property and its transfer to new ownership, lists of former residents of Dresden, Germany, and their subsequent whereabouts, missing person reports, deportation tables, and captured Nazi party documents.
