Acquisition
Mr. Frank collected the original materials from various sources in Germany and Czechoslovakia before and after World War II. Copies of the materials were sent to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Collections Department by his widow, Ruth Frank, in July 1992, and that department transferred the materials to United States Holocaust Memorial MuseumA in July 1992. Additional materials were sent to United States Holocaust Memorial MuseumA by Mrs. Frank in Aug. 1992.
Scope and Content
Contains information about prewar discrimination of German Jewish physicians; anti-Jewish laws; deportations of German Jews to Theresienstadt; the fate of relatives of William G. Frank; and acknowledgement given to Jews for their help during a fire.
