Acquisition

The copy of "Buchenwald and Beyond" was published by the US military after World War II. The photographs (approximately 36) were copied from originals taken by Bruce Robinson after the liberation of Buchenwald. These photos were transferred to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Photo Archives on 2 May 1991.

Scope and Content

A photocopy of parts of "Buchenwald and Beyond," which concerns the 120th U.S. Evacuation Hospital and its service to survivors and displaced persons at Buchenwald concentration camp and Cham, Germany, after liberation. Entire book is in Library collection as D807.U722 120th B83 1946.
