Jack O. Horton was a Second Lieutenant with the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. After 15 months as a POW at Stalag Luft 1, he was liberated and sent to the German airport at Barth, Germany. At Barth, he witnessed Jews who had served as slave laborers
