Acquisition

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Art and Artifacts branch received these photographs from Leo Cecil on March 22, 2000. The Art and Artifacts branch transferred the photographs to the Archives in May 2000.

Scope and Content

Contains four black and white photographs, of Ohrdruf immediately following liberation and two envelopes which originally housed the photographs. The first was labeled "1945/ W.W.II" and the second labeled "Buchenwald/IIWW."
