Biographical History
David P. Boder conducted the interview with Mendel Herskovitz on July 31, 1946, at the ORT training school in Paris, France. He recorded the interview in German and Yiddish and later transcribed it into English. Bernard Wolf served as translator. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum acquired a copy of the interview from the Library of Congress in 1998.
