Acquisition
Source of acquisition is the Yad Vashem, Jerusalem, Israel. Advancing Soviet military units captured the German files and eventually transferred them to the Czechoslovakian Ministry of Defense. They are now housed in the archives of the Vojenský historický ústav (Military Historical Institute), Prague, Czech Republic. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in 1995.
Scope and Content
