Scope and Content
Child's Hagadah brought with Fritz and Juliane Else Silberschmidt when they escaped Nazi Germany for the Netherlands in 1939. It was among the very few items that they were permitted to take with them when they left Cologne. The rest of the family's personal and household belongings were confiscated by German authorities.

Book ; 45, [9] p. : col. ill. ; color illustrations, including some with a flap, a revolving disk and mechanical figures on tabs ; 32 cm. Opposite pages numbered in duplicate; Hebrew text has Hebrew numbers. Vocalized text printed in red and black. Several illustrations have movable parts. Includes songs for voices, chiefly unaccompanied.
