Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
Rectangular paper currency. On recto, white background with text in yellow/brown ink and a decorative border with corner medallions depicting the numerical denomination 1. There are 2 insignia located in the upper center left and the center right. The upper center, in square on point, has a male bust dressed in military attire, with a depiction of a sailing vessel directly below. On verso, yellow paper with dark brown ink with decorative motif located upper center with 9 medallions arranged in a diamond pattern: 2 medallions represent the denomination; 7 are various insignia, chiefly Nazi party symbols.
