Reel 1: 00:17:03 Melting snows, streams, water over land. German soldiers drive cross a river in a horse-drawn cart. Military vehicles ford a river/water logged road. Soldiers work on a wooden bridge. Observation post on the Black Sea. A soldier raises an alarm, other soldiers come running. Different shots of lookouts using binoculars/rabbit-eared telescopes. City on the Black Sea. Coastal gun installations; soldiers load and operate artillery. German soldiers come running out of a destroyed building. CUs of artillery. Different shots of defense preparations along the coastline. German soldiers preparing defenses, eating and on guard along the rocky coast of the Black Sea. Soldiers operate a grenade launcher. Reel 2: 00:29:42 Romanian troops being reviewed. Marshall Ion Antonescu visits troops, takes salute at parade as Romanian troops goose-step past. Antonescu speaks with various officers and soldiers, shakes hands with Romanian troops. German soldiers using a rabbit-eared telescope along the coast. Wide shots of scenery along Black Sea. A soldier climbs along ladder up a cliff to an observation post. A small band plays as civilians are marched (for forced labor?).
