See Eitel Lange: Der Reichsmarschall im Krieg, p. 179, re. the "Fliegende Hamburger" and Goering's increasing use of it at the end of 1943, as damage to rail installations increased and the luxurious Sonderzug became more impractical. It was adapted and overhauled for Goering.
