Copyright: MoMA does not own the copyright to "Crisis" but requests notification of third-party use. This film was not officially copyrighted in the United States, according to a 1992 search at the Library of Congress. It is possible that the rights belong to co-director Alexander (Sasha) Hammid, though he died in 2004. Another search conducted by the United States Copyright Office of the Library of Congress in 2008 could not find "Crisis" registered in their records. Therefore, the USHMM regards the film as public domain. Distributed by Arthur Mayer (1939, USA). TRT: 71 minutes.
