Chaplain Takes Over, Deggendorf, Germany, May 4, 1945. EXTs, Lt Col Father Crain of the 4th US Armored Division exits from building and speaks to German chaplain captured with two German Colonels. Burial of Dead, Ludwigslust, Germany, May 7, 1945. Seq: German civilians bury dead of Woebbelin concentration camp. LS, bodies laid out near graves. At the back of each grave is a large wooden cross. LS, group of US and German officers stand at attention during burial ceremonies. CU, unidentified German civilian speaks into microphone. CUs, MSs, German civilians and officers viewing bodies before burial. Some women place flowers on grave. A few women are crying. MSs, horsedrawn wagons carry bodies from mass grave in wooded area.
