Publication containing the 25th anniversary issue of the monthly periodical “Dr. Adolf Brüll's populärwissenschaftliche Monatsblätter zur Belehrung über das Judentum für Gebildete aller Konfessionen”. It is meant as tool to enlighten educated people of all confessions about Judaism. One article discusses King Hezekiah and the bronze snake as a symbol for abolishing traditions that have become void of meaning. Others discuss Jews and Judaism in times of reform, and a scientific approach to Judaism. The publication includes an overview of the members of the Mendelssohn-Verein, and their activities over 25 years.
