Scope and Content
The author argues that the new Race theory will lead to infighting and unnecessary antagonism in Germany. The arguments of these theorists are considered shallow and self-defeating. The writings of Gobineau and Chamberlain cannot be considered supportive of the arguments. Furthermore, it is widely acknowledged that most races exhibit a degree of ethnic blending. The writings of Hans Günther on race are subsequently examined. While his work is acknowledged to be well written, its underlying theories are deemed unsound
