Scope and Content

The publication gives an overview of the many political changes in Germany because of the war and its impact on society, especially the economy. The situation of the German workers and social democracy are analyzed, as well as the ways a national unified movement could be organized. The fourth chapter discusses religion and the different denominations and their role in a new Germany.
