Scope and Content
The publication gives an overview about stock corporations which trade on the stock exchange and why they are so important for the German economy. Rathenau explains the various bodies of the corporation and their duties. The concept of mass production and its impact and consequences on the overall economy is explained. The development of the economy in the late 19th century and the instabilities of the stock market are discussed in the following chapter.
