Scope and Content
The publication is based on a lecture by the author given at the Free Socialist academy in Berlin on November 8th, 1930. It addresses economic crises and unemployment from a socialist perspective. The author explains the reasons and developments in past years that led to the slump. He advocates the rise in salaries, a balanced budget, help for the unemployed and class solidarity.
