Scope and Content
The World Union for liberal religious Judaism published this pamphlet from its conference in 1928 in Berlin. It gives an overview of the creation of the chapter in Bombay and its activities. It currently has 42 members, mainly from Bombay. The prayer books are by the "Liberal Jewish Synagogue" from London and services are held in English and Hebrew. A translation into Hebrew or Marati would be appreciated. The community is poor and lacks a full-time position for a minister. It offers classes and excursions.
