Der Geist der Bibel

The publication is a separate reprint from “Die Wahrheit” (the truth) in memoriam Ascher Adam Sulzbach-Rosenfeld, the father of the author and his mother, Esther. It is a study on the nature and influence of Moses, whose character according to the author has been misinterpreted in the last years. Wrong interpretations lead young people to become indifferent to the deeper wisdom of the books of Moses. The importance of Shabbat and the seventh year of rest for the soil are emphasized and credited to Moses’ teachings. A one-page footnote (p. 36) gives a positive outlook on the intellectual future of women who are given the chance in the new age to strive for knowledge and equality and when encouraged will rise to the same level as men or even surpass them.
