Scope and Content
The publication addresses the increasing dissonance between religious life and its requirements and the demands and distractions of modern life. Many members of the community decided to lead a secular life or just keep traditions without faith or enthusiasm. The author asks the question “What needs to be done to make Judaism relevant for a new age and generation?” A new form of Judaism in the form of a religious community should be created by a synod which gathers strong support from the community to rejuvenate existing structures and concepts.
