The anti-Semitic book "Grand-Unsinn des Dr. Schöpf, beleuchtet von einem geborenen Salzburger", written in 1888 by Karl Irresberger, is a review of a pamphlet written by Dr. Schöpf, professor of church history and church law at the Catholic faculty in Salzburg, in which he positions himself against the rising anti-Semitism in Austria. To support his criticism of the pamphlet and to refute the statements made there, Karl Irresberger refers to ten statements, among others.
