Woher? und Wohin?

The pamphlet gives an overview of Jewish reform movements and how they can find common ground and understanding. Preexisting forms of religious service are criticized, some of them considered rigid and in need of reforms. On the other hand, there is concern about abolishment of certain practices and the real intentions for these steps. Assimilation and its consequences for the Jewish “psyche” are also criticized and considered unsuccessful.
