The publication is a memorial issue of the K.C. and VIADRINA celebrating its 50th and 60th anniversary respectively on October 23rd, 1946. It commemorates the death of 200 members during the 1. World War and the same number perished during “the persecutions of the Nazi regime” (as quoted in the publication). Various authors, e. g. Leo Baeck, contributed writings to the anniversary issue.
