Scope and Content
Publication of the play “The Antisemite”, a German Tragedy in three parts for open air theaters or theaters. The play takes place in a small town near Posen in 1875. It addresses the plight of unemployed workers during the industrialization. The poverty and despair is blamed on the rich Jewish industrialist of the town. Socialism vs. Capitalism, the past vs. the future, craft vs. industrialization are topics of the play, as well as the political organization of an antisemitic party.
