Die Arbeit des Hilfsvereins der Juden in Deutschland, 1936-1937

The booklet gives an overview of the work of the “Hilfsverein” (Aid association) for the year 1937. It reports that after the events of 1933 it has started to aid Jews who want to emigrate. Whereas in the early years of the Nazi regime Palestine was the main destination of emigrants, now other countries come to the forefront especially oversea countries. The staff of the organization has been enlarged to meet the demand. The speech by Max Warburg from the yearly assembly on October 14th, 1937 is included.
