Scope and Content

The publication includes various essays by prominent German Jewish representatives of the Jewish community on how to address the challenges under the Nazi dictatorship and the future fate of the community. The introduction by Leo Baeck is followed by contributions by Leo Löwenstein, of the organization of Jewish veterans, Dr. Alfred Hirschberg, from the Centralverein, Heinz Kellermann, from der “Bund”, and Dr. Hans Joachim Schoeps.
