Antisemitic publication. its proclaimed purpose is to enlighten the reader on the subject of real estate speculation and its exploitation of Berlin rental buildings through the example of the 54 buildings owned by Adolph Ehrlich. It describes the practices of Adolph Ehrlich in obtaining said buildings, its rentals practices, court proceedings and Ehrlich's sudden death. The business was inherited by Moritz Ehrlich who continued with said practices. Examples of rental contracts are reprinted and explained. The numerous trials of Moritz Ehrlich are subject of the remaining chapters.
