Reprint of a publication from the 17th century. It describes the special status Jews had in the city of Kassel. It explains the practice in which Jews were forced to attend Christian church services on behest of the countess Amelie Elisabeth. Theological reasoning is reprinted and explained. It discusses excerpts from Luther’s treatise “Von den Jüden und iren Lügen" (Of the Jews and their lies) and Georgii Nigrini’s “Von den Juden" (Of the Jews).
