Scope and Content

The author reflects on the fact that Jews even when they are secular rarely intermarry. He claims that Jews are tough and thrive in any climate. They are also moderate ; one will hardly encounter a drunk Jew. Other characteristics are the loyalty of members of the tribe and a strong sense for commerce and trade. Finally, the Jewish community in Munich is discussed.
