The book tells stories and commands from the bible e.g. Joseph and his brothers, Moses, Joshua and David in a very disrespectful way. It gives a list of dietary commandments and other prohibitions. It distinguishes between the laws that are applicable only for Jews and the exemptions for dealing with goyim (charging of interest, non-kosher meat). The remainder of the book addresses the Assyrian conquest, Babylonian captivity, return from Persia under Cyrus until the siege of Jerusalem, and quotes of various prophets. The appendix gives a summary of bible verses.
