Scope and Content
Antisemitic publication that attempts to explain how Christianity can be incorporated into “Deutschtum” (“Germanness”). Furthermore it claims that the Old Testament has no real value for Christians because it does not have a unified definition of God, and should be used more as a historical document. Martin Luther’s writings are quoted extensively and his impact on Christianity. The publication tries to argue that Christianity is not really derived from Judaism, and that the Jewish faith is based on fear, whereas Christianity is based on love. Germanness is claimed to be most closely connected to Christianity, as exemplified by the Reformation. The role of Jesus in Christianity is highlighted in various points and contrasted to Judaism. A list of other publications by the authors can be found at the end of the booklet.
