Scope and Content
The publication gives the following summary: “In Faust, like in Hamlet, the role of race is a crucial one. The false, Roman law, permeates symbolically the whole work. No thinking person will read this publication without benefit”. The differences between Roman and English (Germanic) law is given and termed equity vs. iniquity. It claims that Jews differ from “Nordic” people because they have no connection to the soil or to working the land. They thrive to have mobile assets. The work of a farmer influences his world view. He sees himself as part of a chain. Roman and Germanic law differ in the way assets are passed on to the next generation (Germany adopted Roman law in 1495). Germanic law also doesn’t provide for mortgages on land, only on property that was created by man. The author considers hypothecary loans to be modern day slavery. The publication includes an index of anti-Semitic writings that were published in 1924.
