The file contains five circulars (“Rundschreiben”) by the United Restitution Organization (Frankfurt) from June, July, and August 1967. The circulars include the following issues: no. 1505, no. 1504, no. 1507, no. 1506, and no. 1497. They mainly deal with recent court judgments on questions of restitution, especially regarding juridical regulations on claims for professional disadvantages following Nazi persecution and the question, if Japan can be understood as a region where Nazi persecution appeared. The topics include: “Ererbten Ausbildungsschaden “, „Berufsschaden “, “ Berufsschaden der Ehefrau“, „Vertriebene, hier: Japan als Vertreibungsgebiet“.
