Scope and Content
The file includes a letter by Ludwig Dische giving the background of his family for his application for a displaced person pass. It includes the table of military service for Dr. Markus Preminger, the father of the director Otto Preminger, during the First World War, with attachment. Further there is a letter from the Austrian Television agency, providing a copy of the review of a book by Robert Flinker from November 1972, by Joachim Schondorff. It also includes a form to obtain help for politically persecuted victims for Dr. Dische, plus biographical date and address, partly handwritten. Finally there is biographical information about Johann Bardach, Edler von Chlumberg; with a small article from the Neue Freie Presse from October 26th, 1930 announcing the death of the writer. Hans Chlumberg fell from the stage during rehearsals of his play "The miracle of Verdun" in Leipzig. There are also handwritten letters in German inquiring about the grave of Wolf Bardach.
