Scope and Content

The file contains one typewritten copy of the so-called „Heimtückegesetz“, the “Law against treacherous attacks on state and party” („Gesetz gegen heimtückische Angriffe auf Staat und Partei zum Schutz der Parteiuniform”) enacted on December 20, 1934. The copy only includes the law’s first paragraph and its three sections on the penalties regarding critical remarks against the government of Nazi Germany or the NSDAP. The complete law includes nine paragraphs.
