Scope and Content
The file contains the typewritten copy of a court judgement issued by the Special Court in Prague in September 1943. Based on the so-called “Sabotageverordnung”, the judges had sentenced Johann Vokatý (born in Pecka in 1892) to death. Vokatý had provided his apartment as a meeting place and hideout for resistance activists - furthermore, he had helped them out financially and by organizing them false documents. The trial transcript of 7 pages also includes the case of the co-defendant Hedwig Vokatý.
