[Nazi Justice Trial Transcripts]
Extent and Medium
1 electronic resource (5 pages)
Scope and Content
The file contains the typewritten copy of a court judgement issued by the Special Court in Prague in January 1945. Georg Vorel, born in Daudlob in 1923, had been accused of illicit weapon owning and selling. In the past, the accused, former member of the Sokol movement, had often quit various jobs – he was considered an untrustworthy worker and citizen by the judges. They also suspected him of having sympathy for the partisan movement. As a so-called “Reichsfeind”, Vorel was sentenced to death. The transcript of 5 pages also includes the cases of the co-defendant Jaroslaus Kubrt who received a prison-sentence of 8 years in a “Zuchthaus”.
