[Nazi Justice Trial Transcripts]
Extent and Medium
1 electronic resource (19 pages)
Scope and Content
The file contains the typewritten copy of a court judgement issued by the Special Court in Prague in August 1943. Based on the law “zur Abwehr reichsfeindlicher Handlungen”, Marie Vlasatý (born in 1913 in Ober-Wostrowetz) had been sent to prison (five years in a “Zuchthaus”) for supporting her husband Franz Vlasatý, a so-called fled “Reichsfeind”. She had pretended to not know anything about her husband's escape, who meanwhile planned to simulate a suicide. Due to a supposed strong marital connection to her husband, her case was considered a "light case" which means that a death sentence was avoided. The trial transcript of 19 pages also includes the cases of the co-defendants Josef Kus, Franz Vlasatý and Anna Kus.
