The farm worker Franz Tichy (born in Jedlau in 1918) went to trial in Prague for owning ammunition as well as a shooting-capable revolver. During the judicial interrogation, he made various statements about the weapon's origin; one time he falsely accused a cousin of his beloved for owning it first. Tichy, who was even previously convicted of theft was sentenced to death.
