Scope and Content
Franz Trnka (*1900, Prague), former professor and youth trainer for the Sokol movement, was sentenced to death for supporting activities considered treasonable. Specifically, he had organized shelter for one of Sokol's former leaders, Franz Hanek, who had escaped arrest by adopting a new identity. He also helped him out by taking care of his son.
