The file contains the verdict of Ružena Svoboda (born on 3 February 1893 in Vienna). The defendant expressed her political views in several conversations. She stated that life under Germany's rule worsened but she believed that Germany would soon lose the war. In a conversation with soldiers she urged them to give up fighting and desert the army in order to save their lives. Svoboda was found guilty of attempting to lead members of the Wehrmacht to desert. Svoboda was sentenced to death in 1944.
