The file contains the verdicts of rail road workers Karl Smid (born on 21 November 1911 in Hudlitz), Wenzel Panyrek (born on 18 August 1916 in Gross-Wossow), Josef Habada (born on 27 August 1909 in Zieditz), Ernst Bošek (born on 3 April 1912 in Zwodau) and Wenzel Krob (born on 13 October 1910 in Bratronitz). The defendants Smid and Panyrek were accused of having stolen items from trains such as suitcases and packages on several occasions.They stole an excessive amount of items and were therefore both sentenced to death. The defendant Habada received similar charges. Furthermore, he sold the stolen items at exorbitant prices. Habada was found guilty and sentenced to death. The defendant Krob merely opened suitcases for Bošek and committed therefore a less serious crime. He was sentenced to four years of penitentiary. Ernst Bošek had no previous convictions and did not participate in the thefts to a great extent. He was sentenced to three years of penitentiary.
