Scope and Content

The file contains the verdicts of 16 men and women from the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. The defendants Jarmila Ševiola, Viktor Tichopad and Alfred Bronček were found guilty of large-scale illicit trade with textiles. All three received the death sentence. Lilly Hruška, Marie Večerka, Anton Palička, Rona Hörl, Franzisak Tyrlik, Marie Kurka and Franz Richter were found guilty of illicit trade with textiles. Hruška received a two-year prison sentence. Večerka was sentenced to two years of penitentiary. Palička and Hörl were sentenced to one year and six months of prison. Tyrlik was sentenced to six months of prison and Kurka to eight months of prison. Richter was sentenced to one year and six months of penitentiary. The defendants Karl Princ, Florentine Kubala and Gottlieb Kurnicky were found guilty of aiding and abetting. Princ received a one-year prison sentence. Kubala was sentenced to four months of prison. Kurnicky was sentenced to nine months of prison. Josef Slama received a one-year prison sentence for attempting to listen to foreign radio broadcasts. The defendant Franz Paciorek was acquitted of his charge and Maximilian Ries's case was closed.
