The file contains the verdicts of Berta Ressel (born on 26 January 1901 in Gottesgab) and Rudolf Kipiel. Berta Ressel was accused of tricking people into giving her food and other goods. For instance, the defendant would tell the wives of soldiers that she could deliver their husbands packages. Ressel would then keep all the products she received. In other instances Ressel posed as a bomb victim to get various items. Ressel was sentenced to death in 1945. Rudolf Kipiel helped Ressel to commit fraud on several occasions and consumed some of the food they received. Kipiel was found guilty of abetting fraud and was sentenced to two years of penitentiary.
