Scope and Content

The file contains the verdicts of 24 men and women living in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. The defendants Raimund Navrátil and Johann Rumplik were charged with giving shelter to an enemy of the state ("Reichsfeind") and were sentenced to death in 1944. The defendants Ignaz Hrabal, Zdenka Hrabal, Dr. Adalbert Hýždal, Hedwig Kypěna, Augustin Navrátil, Stanislaus Vožda, Franz Prosecky, Anna Prosecky, Jaroslaus Prosecky, Franziska Rumplik, Josefa Židlik, Vinzenz Stanek, Gottlieb Venclik, Franziska Venclik, Gottlieb Venclik (the younger), Franz Vrána and Marie Vrána all supported and failed to report an enemy of the state. Gottlieb Venclik (the older) and Franz Vrána were sentenced to death. The defendants Ignaz Hrabal, Zdenka Hrabal, Franziska Rumplik and Vinzenz Stanek were sentenced to three years of penitentiary. Dr. Hýždal, Hedwig Kypěna, Franziska Venclik and Anna Prosecky were sentenced to five years of penitentiary. The defendants Marie Vrána and Augustin Navrátil received a sentence of six years of penitentiary. Franz Prosecky was sentenced to eight years of penitentiary. Vožda, Gottlieb Venclik (the younger) and Jaroslaus Prosecky were each sentenced to one year and six months of penitentiary. Josefa Židlik received a sentence of four years of penitentiary. The defendants Julie Staněk, Elisabeth Vrána, Ulrich Vrána and Jaroslaus Bidlo were aqcuitted of their charges. The case against Heinrich Židlik was discontinued.
