The file contains the verdict of Johann Michalak, a man from Poznań, Poland. Michalak had been employed in a postal office in Poznań since 1942. He was accused of having opened mail and having stolen its content several times in 1943. The stolen items mostly included tobacco, cigarettes and chocolate. Furthermore, the defendant stole field post whose theft was considered especially immoral. Michalak was found guilty and sentenced to death in 1943.
