Scope and Content
The file contains the verdict of five Polish men. These include: Tadeusz Maikowski, Wladyslaw Piekarski, Vicenty Stepnowski, Wladyslaw Gutowski and Urban-Wladyslaw Zalenski. The defendants Maikowski and Piekarski were sentenced to death for "war economy crimes" and exceeding the maximum price. Gutowski sold cattle at a price over the limit and was charged with the same crimes. He was sentenced to three years of penitentiary and received a fine. Zalenski was also found guilty of exceeding the maximum price and sentenced to one year of penitentiary and received a fine. Stepnowski was charged with favoritism and sentenced to one year of penitentiary.
