Scope and Content
The file is a compilation of quotations from Nazi publications about the invincible "Westwall" (Western fortification). It was built by more than half a million workers with steel and concrete to protect the Western part of the German Reich. The German soldiers are praised for their hard work and endurance, especially the units under Dr. Todt. Each quotation lists the publication, title and place of publication.
